This was our first time to visit Spur Chevrolet in Gatesville for service on our Chevrolet Traverse. It certainly won't be our last. Tiffany in the service department was amazing. She explained everything to us in detail and kept us updated as the service was being done. We were advised of future needs and the estimated cost. The service was performed very quickly - - we were in and out in no time at all. Tiffany also transferred all our information from our previous service location which we left due to the distance we had to travel to it. We will definitely recommend Spur Chevrolet to others for their service needs.

The ease of making my service appt online was great! My appt was for 8:30am for an oil change and tire rotation. I dropped my car off at 8am. I thought it was odd they were asking me what I brought it in for since I had to select that on my appt request, but still in and out quickly. I got a text shortly after dropping it off saying I could text this number back with any questions and it also had a phone number listed I could call and a link attached that allowed me to check the progress of my service. I got a text at 1:05pm saying my car passed inspection with another link to track progress. That showed my car had not even been started for service. I texted the number and asked the status of my car at 1:39. No response. I attempted to call via the phone number listed on the text (254-206-3964) twice at 3:15 and again at 3:19 and each time it said not a working number. I looked up the dealership’s main number from Google and called it. After being transferred twice and waiting on hold, I was finally told my car was washed and ready for pick up. His words were, “I can see it dripping, so I know it’s washed and ready.” I am very glad I didn’t choose to sit and wait for an oil change and tire rotation, as that means it took from 8:30a-3:20p to complete! The service employees are very kind, but there seems to be a disconnect between them and the technology being utilized. When I informed the lady of the number listed not working she looked at it and said, “I don’t even know where they got that number.” I also showed her that at that time—approx 4:30p according to their own link it still showed the service had not even been started on my car. Again, the people are very kind, but in a technology driven world and essentially a service being provided, this missed the mark.

I found the Yukon Denali on line. I wasn’t sure where Gatesville TX was located: I googled the dealership and realized it was 155 miles away. After dealing with dealerships here in the DFW metroplex for months and getting no where I gave Spur a call. I spoke with Ben and inquired about the vehicle. He was very friendly and professional from the get go. I also spoke with Trenton who was also very down to earth, professional and easy to talk to. We negotiated the price and I drove the 155 miles the next day to purchase the vehicle. It truly was a great experience! Ben spent a lot of time with me going over the vehicle. There was actually something we couldn’t figure out about the back tailgate. Bright and early the next morning Ben reached out to me with a resolution as he said he would. From the time I made the first phone call until I left with my new vehicle it was a great experience! Honesty, integrity and friendliness are hard to find these days. I was not actually in the market for a new vehicle. I stopped in to look at your inventory. A young man (salesman) came out to assist us. He was very helpful. Once he determined what type of truck I use, he showed us one that was the right motor, the right equipment package, and at a price that my wife could live with. I traded my Duramax Trail Boss for a Duramax Denali and I am very happy with the vehicle.

I arrived early to my appointment and they accommodated my early arrival by beginning the service. The staff was friendly and I really enjoyed receiving a complimentary car wash! I will definitely return for my future service appointments.

Had regular service performed on my 2021 GMC Sierra, 3.0 Diesel. As aleays, my truck was returned to me with a freshly washed exterior. I had stopped in the day before to schedule the appointment. Check engine light was on. Landon checked it out with a code reader that indicated a bad cylinder heater. They’ll check it out further the next day. Check engine light was OFF the next day. They’ll make note in the event it happens again. No problem! I mentioned that on about a half dozen occasions, when I hit the START button, the starter spins fast for about 15 to 40 seconds; nothing I can do to make it stop! Once it stops on it’s on, I press STARR again and the engine starts immediately. Landon said he would make note of this. I bought the truck new from Spur in 2021. (I’ve read a little about this issue. It’s kind of rare, but not unheard of.) got about 61,000 miles on it. I recall an article referring to a CAM issue that causes that issue. I like Spur and the team there. Fingers crossed on this issue.

I purchased a 2026 2500 AT4 and found that Spur had some of the best prices. I spoke with Ben and the sales manager (Trent I think was his name) via text, which was my preference, and got really quick responses. My husband and I drove 1.5 hours to look at the truck, and Ben was there and waiting. He was extremely easy to work with. I felt ZERO pressure, and despite salesmen stereotypes, he definitely didn't give off any sneaky vibes. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and laid back, and I would definitely prefer to have him as our salesperson for future purchases. In fact, we are looking for my daughter's 1st car, and he's actively helping us find the right one. The only downside I would say would be financing. Trent, the sales manager, mentioned a $40 monthly/extended warranty, which we were interested in, but I wanted to make sure it was the right one and would fit into our budget. When we got into the finance area after about an hour's wait, Henry immediately had me sign a paper saying I wasn't interested in an extended warranty, and he casually mentioned that he just doesn't understand why some people don't like protecting their investments. It was a little rude, and I asked him about the warranty, and he told me it would be $80 a month. I told him the sales manager told me it would be $40, and then Henry waved his hand and said, "Yeah, he doesn't know what he was talking about." THIS made me uneasy. So I declined the extended warranty because I have read that they can be a scam, and this didn't make me feel like it wouldn't be, and I didn't like that the price doubled. We had also waited an hour for him, which I understand he was the only one. But at that point we were ready to just go. When we were leaving we noticed a weird dull spot on the truck and Ben took pictures of it and took the initiative to call me the next day to let me know that it was under warranty and can be fixed. I hadn't even followed up about it. He also mentioned several times that I should reach out to him anytime if I had any questions. I have purchased quite a few cars in my life, and I have never had a salesperson reach out afterwards. Usually, customer service ends once the paperwork is signed. I love my truck, and I had an overall great experience working with Ben at Spur. I do wish we were able to figure out the extended warranty situation, but it's not a deal breaker, and I can find one likely cheaper somewhere else. When we purchase another car for my daughter, I will likely wait on a day when another finance person is there.
